Virtual Analog Synthesizer

The Syn'X 2 is inspired by a famous and legendary Synthesizer from the 80's, which a lot of talented guys used as their central Keyboard, including some synths Gurus.

Its a piece of history, maybe the last Vintage Analog Polyphonic synthesizer.

It has a special multitimbral mode, 5 different hi quality and hi character filters, as you could expect from a Xils-Lab synth.

It is MORE than a strict emulation.

It has many additional features compared to its glorious ancester, as you could expect from a modern era synthesizer.

Features

The Syn'X is a virtual 16 voices analog synthesizer and as it, brings what we can call now standard analog features :

Two oscillators with 4 selectable waveforms, Triangle, Saw, Square, Pulse and its dedicated PWM and Ring modulator mode. Additionally, the Triangle and Sawtooth waveforms do have PWM modes. Several waveforms can be selected simultaneously for each of the oscillators.

One multimode filter based on the CEM 3320 chip emulation, providing Self oscillating 12 dB and 24 dB low pass, 6 and 12 dB band pass, and 12 dB high pass modes.

Four D-ADSR : an enhanced standard ADSR envelope with a MIDI syncable delay.

Four LFOs, including two neverseen LFOS types.

Four embedded effects : Delay, Chorus, Phaser, Dual EQs

One Multi-track sequencer

Several playing modes including A la Moog mono modes and several Polyphonic modes

The Syn'X, has every XILS-lab products, brings also some never before seen features :

The Chaox : an LFO based on fully calculated chaotics functions. real life enters in synthesizers

The Rythm : an LFO with uses the Rythm for its main purpose.

Guitar modes, Circular and random polyphonic modes

And last but not least, The Syn'X is multi-layer and has a polytimbral mode:

8 totaly independant layers (each layer can have its own set of oscillators, filters, envelopes, glide and lfos, with independent settings).

2 keyboards, each with its own independent arpeggiator and MIDI settings management.

Differences between Syn’X and Syn’X 2 :

Easy and Advanced Edit Modes : replaced with a much more friendly, intuitive and productive Dual Programming environment You can now operate the Syn’X in two modes : The Easy Mode, and the Advanced or Layer Mode.

The EZ/Legacy/miniSyn’x mode is identical to the one found on our miniSyn’X synthesizer. It’s very fast, intuitive and straightforward to program, while still ensuring more power that what can usually be found on standard VA synthesizers,

The Advanced Mode adds the ability to use the Syn’X 2 in multilayers/Multitimbral configurations that use more than 2 Layers per patch. It’s incredibly flexible, as you can freely built your own Patches who can use dozens of oscillators and envelopes, 8 different filters and tons of real time modulations.

The access to edit multiple layers simultaneously in Advanced Mode has been vastly improved, as you now can use the new GANG Mode ( Relative editing),

Easy Sound Design and AI assisted patch creation : We have added some of the technologies that made the miniSyn’X so popular : The Smart Load functions.They make Sound Design always fun, a real adventure, while ensuring good, pleasant and interesting results at almost each try ( And trying it only requires to push a button ).

New PWM/Hard Sync Algorithm : Our new exclusive 0 delay Feedback algorithm ensure sounds similar to the famous Laser Harp preset will be emulated as closely as possible, with added punch and clarity.

4 new Gate Knobs for the Polysequencer : Gives you a lot more control over the different Sequence Lines.

MIDI Controllers : Now working with the multi layer stuctures (each layer can be addressed independently)

Rewritten manual with new chapters (including ‘Getting Started‘)

More presets : Now 300 factory presets designed by some of the best Sound Designers.

The Syn'X is iLok or eLicenser protected:
you need either an iLok or an eLicenser dongle to authorize the Syn'X
