Aftermath

Sound designer Daniel Stawczyk returns with Aftermath a 150-preset collection for AAS' string modeling synthesizer. Harnessing String Studio VS-2 distinctive algorithms the bank revisits the familiar synthesizer categories — bass, chords and stabs, gated sounds, leads, pads, and plucks in a fresh, expressive, and unsettling sense. The set is then nicely tied up with 49 ultra payable special effect instruments that span hyper-realism, orchestral annihilation, and nerve-racking consequences.

Harmonic Geometry

With Harmonic Geometry, Richard Devine explores our string modeling synthesizer in all its facets. In his distinctive style, he brings us elaborate timbral perspectives and intricate textural spaces using the many shapes and forms of String Studio VS-2.

These ingenious constructions materialize into an eclectic collection of sounds spanning modern sci-fi territories, ambiences, surprising percussion, resonant vibration effects, and exotic instruments. Masala

Christian Laffitte returns to the sound design kitchen with his second AAS Sound Bank Series instalment in the form of Masala. Not a mere ensemble of sounds, Masala stages an entire collection of new instruments that you’ll love to learn and discover.

The instruments are light and responsive to the touch, full of magic with bounces, buzzes, and sizzles. Their timbres are from nowhere and everywhere — an adventurous mélange of tastes and flavors. These 101 wonderful musical contrivances await to unlock new paths of creativity; inspired by different ethnic instruments from around the world, with some quite nice presets.

Stranger Strings

Stranger Strings showcases an eclectic collection of 104 "mix-ready" presets that touches rock, pop, industrial, movie soundtracks, hip hop, trap as well as EDM. With plenty of arpeggiators, leads, deep basses, or one- shot sound effects, layering your tracks with Stranger Strings brings a fresh air to your music.

Fear Within tingles your spine with the whole gamut of uneasy ambiances, grisly melodic keys, immersive pads, suspenseful percussions, and downright creepy noises. The masterfully crafted modulator effects widen the scope of this obsessively detailed sound pack by multiplying the sonic reach of each sound.

Masala 2

Following up on the highly flavourful Masala, resident sound designer Christian Laffitte cooks up a second collection of 100 spicy, unique, and delicious new sounds exploring the full capabilities of String Studio VS-3.

At its core, Masala 2 imparts the feel of playing a genuine instrument with tremendous organic authenticity. With colors ranging from the very roots of the human race to downright obscure and experimental, the enigmatic Masala 2 heats up any music endeavour.

Asymmetric

Romanian sound designer Cipryan Bot takes full advantage of String Studio’s fantastic string oscillator system’s ability to mimic the natural behaviors of real acoustic instruments while injecting a strategic dose of synthetic abnormality for creative purposes. Special attention was given to modulator controls allowing you to transform and morph sounds in a totally unexpected way and explore different tonal territories.

With a remarkably distinctive sound design approach, Bot fully exploits the power of physical modeling with Asymmetric—a sound set ideal for cinematic, atmospheric, and ambient techno projects and anything else where you need a touch of eccentricity and to push boundaries.

Bass Factory

With Bass Factory, resident sound designer Christian Laffitte unleashes the power of the bass with a vast array of meticulously crafted bass sounds that transcend genres with style. From earth-shaking sub-basses to squeaky upright jazz basses, Bass Factory covers it all. Each expertly designed preset reflects Christian's attention to detail and deep knowledge of bass as an instrument and his holistic mastery of String Studio’s powerful string oscillator engine.

String It

Meticulously crafted by French sound designer Emeric Zubar, String It emerges as an exquisite collection of 100 finely tuned presets inspired by the pulsating rhythms of Afrobeat, the gritty energy of Hip Hop, the infectious vibes of Trap, and with a touch of R&B soulful sensibilities. String it takes full advantage of String Studio’s innovative physical modeling engine to instill each preset with a distinctive warmth and authenticity, ensuring that every note resonates with depth and emotion.
