Peakbuster, an attack-phase boosting and harmonic enhancement plug-in for professional music and sound production applications, available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats, for macOS and Windows computers.

Peakbuster is a multi-band transient enhancer effect plug-in that uses an advanced automatic algorithm.

Peakbuster stands out from the competition in its ability to always sound natural, even on a full-spectrum master bus. The strength of the effect depends on the material being processed: the algorithm masterfully analyses dynamics of the sound it processes, and applies boosting in quantities that are "exactly right". Moreover, the algorithm has a suitably “fast” reaction time making its adjustments sound “fluid”, not "over the place".

The amount of effect can be chosen independently for the lower and higher frequency ranges: this permits use of Peakbuster on a variety of program material, both full mixes and individual tracks.

Additionally, due to the nature of the algorithm’s design, Peakbuster applies a unique harmonic coloration or enhancement: so, even if the gain adjustment meter shows only a minimal transient boosting amount at a given time, the plug-in still transforms the sound being processed in a way that to some engineers may sound "on a completely another level"; Voxengo would call it "beyond tube warmness".

System Requirements & Compatibility :

This audio plug-in can be loaded in any audio host application that conforms to the AudioUnit, AAX, or VST plug-in specification.

This plug-in is compatible with Windows (32- and 64-bit Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 and later version, if not announced as unsupported) and macOS (10.11 and later version, if not announced as unsupported) computers (2.5 GHz dual-core or faster processor with at least 4 GB of system RAM required). A separate binary distribution file is available for each target computer platform and audio plug-in specification. If supported on a specific processor, the plug-in may internally utilize AVX2-optimized code.

Compatible Windows and macOS plug-in software: Cubase, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Reaper, OBS, Presonus Studio One, FL Studio, Cakewalk, Nuendo, WaveLab, GarageBand, Vegas, SoundForge, Audition, Samplitude, Digital Performer, Mixcraft, Bitwig Studio, Edius, others.

If you cannot get plug-in component to work on macOS, you have to logout from the system and login again, it's a known issue not caused by plug-in's own bug.
