The Complete GRM Tools Bundle

The GRM Tools Collection is an un-compared set of 15 amazing plug-ins that have been used by most renowned composers and sound designers around the world.

Each GRM Tools plug-in offers powerful and unique sound transformation and audio processing features.

Conceived and crafted by the GRM Group (Groupe de Recherches Musicales) of the famous National Audiovisual Institute of Paris (France), GRM Tools 3 is the result of numerous years of research, experimentation and development.

The GRM Tools Collection from now on contains RTAS, VST and Audio Unit formats and can also be used as Stand-Alone applications.

Evolution Bundle

The new GRM Tools "Evolution Bundle" is a revolutionary real-time sound processing plug-in bundle that contains 3 distinct plug-ins :

Evolution

Evolution is used to obtain continuous evolution of timbre by frequential sampling of the input signal.

The timbre of the input signal is sampled at more or less regular intervals. The output signal is obtained by interpolation between the sampled timbres.

Fusion

Fusion modifies a sound by playing on delays, filters offset and frequential sliding.

The input signal is represented by a sonogram which moves from right to left. 8 player heads of variable size and orientation can be placed on the sonogram. The players capture the signal running below them, like player heads placed along a magnetic tape or placed at different locations on a vinyl disc. They behave like band-pass filters and combine delay, filtering, reinjection and glissando effects.

Grinder

Grinder is used to degrade a sound by freezing its frequential or time changes, and by modifying its spectral resolution. It also enables incredible vocoder effects.

The input signal is transformed into a sum of sine components whose quantity, and change in frequency and amplitude can be controlled. By adjusting the amplitudes, effects of signal distortion, saturation and degradation can be obtained, particularly for small numbers of components. By adjusting the changes of frequencies, it is possible to obtain impressing VOCODER effects. An integrated file player enables the use of another signal as a frequency or amplitude signal.

Spectral Transform Bundle

GRM Tools Spectral Transform (ST) is a bundle of four plug-ins that provides extremely powerful tools to deeply transform the spectral content of your audio material.

GRM Tools ST contains:

Contrast : independant modification of three groups of frequency components, according to the strength of their amplitudes.

Equalize : 31-band graphic equalizer.

FreqWarp : transform a sound by rearranging its frequency components in a completely free and creative way.

FreqShift : transform a sound by any combination of frequency scaling or frequency shifting

Classic Bundle

GRM Tools Classic is a bundle of eight plug-ins that provide superb tools for sound enhancement and design, from subtle audio corrections to the most creative sound effects.

GRM Tools Classic contains:

Comb Filters : five high-Q in-parallel comb filters

Delays : up to 128 delays with modulation

Doppler : move sounds through an audio space with changes in pitch that correspond to their movement

Band Pass : Band pass or band reject filter with exceptionally steep slopes

Freeze : temporal freeze made of loops

Shuffling : Temporal shuffling of sound fragments

Pitch Accum : two independant transposers, with delays and modulation

Reson : up to 128 resonanting high-pass, low-pass or band-pass filters

Agitation feature: Adds random variations to the processing parameters.

Window resizing: The plug-in window can be resized by clicking and dragging

Multi-format: VST, Audio Unit, RTAS plug-ins and Standalone application

MIDI control for all parameters
